Pranjal Gupta

I founded Plutinos Technologies in 2016. We are a small design and development studio in Sector 136, Noida, working with startups and growing businesses across India — UI/UX design, brand and graphic design, web and app development, digital marketing, and a fixed-price UX and accessibility audit.

Most of what I write here comes out of that work rather than from theory. When we audit a website we see the same failures repeatedly: interfaces that look finished but were never tested, sites that pass a desktop speed check and collapse on a real phone, accessibility treated as a compliance chore rather than a growth constraint, and marketing budgets optimised against numbers that were wrong to begin with.

What I write about

Four areas, roughly:

• User experience and accessibility — including why WCAG conformance is a business argument before it is a legal one.
• Web performance — Core Web Vitals as a revenue line rather than a vanity score.
• How search is changing — generative engines, AI Overviews, and what it takes to be cited rather than merely crawled.
• Brand and design decisions — refresh versus rebrand, and what actually drives trust in a first impression.

The 2026 SMB website study

In 2026 we audited 105 Indian SMB and D2C websites across eight industries using the same engine behind our commercial audit. The average accessibility score was 54 out of 100, and 82% published nothing an AI search engine could reasonably cite. It is the largest dataset I know of on the state of Indian small-business websites, and it informs most of the recommendations in these articles. Anyone is welcome to quote it with a link.
